Plugin problem

This problem seems to be related to my just recent new re-installation of Windows 7 because it was not a problem previously.

Trying to access www.philsden.com/12/ using Firefox I get an error message at the top saying "The QuickTime plugin has crashed."  No amount of trouble shooting seems to be able to fix this.

Using Chrome browser this is the story:

Using Chrome I an unable to hear the background sound on www.philsden.com/12/ I am told to get a  plugin which seems to be wmpChrome.crx.  When I try to install that extension I get an error message at the top of the page that says "Package is invalid: 'CRX file not readable'

Using IE it works fine.

SOLVED by installing VLC Player.
