How do I decrease my camera feed quality when in meetings?

My laptop is getting heated up because of the high video quality and also takes a lot of bandwidth.

    I'm Renzo, I will help you with your question.

    At this point, is not available, right now, there's no ability to throttle video quality in Teams app, basically it is a limitation.

    I suggest you send your comments to PG (product group) through the Microsoft Feedback Hub, it's the way to communicate with them, (from the community it is not possible), they always see ideas, suggestions and problems (bugs) in the applications by users of Microsoft products in order to improve the application.

    Open the Teams desktop app > at bottom left click Help > Feedback > explain your idea and send your feedback.
