Per your description, it seems that you want to increase or decrease the font size when using OneNote on Android.

If my understanding of the scenario is right, as far as I know, I'm afraid there is no built-in feature in OneNote on Android to change font size. Apologize for the inconvenience.

Personally, I do understand your concern. It would be definitely ideal and much more convenient if we can change font size in Android OneNote app. Thank you for bringing thing to our attention.
