I downloaded Office 2024 to install on my Mac. I DO NOT want 365 or One Drive! I have a previous 365 subscription for my PC. I cannot figure out how to install this Office I just paid $250 for, every time I try I'm linked back to 365!!

Which Office 2024 did yuo purchase? Is it Office Home 2024, or Office Pro Plus 2024, or Standard, or LTSC? What's the exact full name?
Did you purchase from Microsoft or from third party?
So I got an answer from Microsoft support…as my 365 subscription auto-renewed last month, even tho I didn’t want it, it will continue to replace ANY license I try to activate until it expires. A full year. $250 for office 24 that I cannot use. Unbelievable.
Did you ask support if you could cancel the 365 annual renewal? Typically they let you if it was renewed within the last 30 days. Or was this subscription signed up via Apple App Store? Then it is subjected to Apple's return/refund policy.
So I’m working with them now. It took forever to find a page where I could do live chat. I kept finding answers to my question searching the “community”, but the links took me to a generic page. The site is just so not friendly. But I got someone to cancel the 365 and we’re trying the Office 24 install again.

Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus, Type "Billing" and press Enter. On the next screen, click "Contact support" at the bottom of the page, then choose "Microsoft 365" > "Manage my subscription". You’ll then see the option to chat with a Microsoft support agent who has access to your account to help review the issue.
Yeah, not easy. Apple couldn’t help since it’s a MS product, but they were so easy to get hold of. Thanks for replying, hopefully it’s sorted.

Just to clarify though, if your subscription was signed up/purchased via Apple App store, all billing matters will be supported by Apple, while technical issue can be still supported by Microsoft.
