So i use tw accounts on my laptop. One is the normal accoount and the other Outlook. I recently made the Outlook account for my zoom classes, been a month or so. Today i was doing a document, so I was trying to switch my cloud account in the file folder. I did succeeded but it asked the sign-in so i typed my number instead of my mail, on the screen it displayed something Outlook account. Something which clearly isn't mine. I've never used it at all. I left it at that, after an hour, i again typed in my phone number to see if it was still there but after typing enter it says "this method is no longer applicable". Still the Outlook account still is visible to me. Now I'm panicking because how is this possible!? My other accounts aren't linked by my phone number, so who is this outlook guy who is linked with my phone number!!?

Unfortunately, the forum hides addresses when you enter them. Just show what comes in front of the @. Can you log into your accounts? If so, log into https://account.live.com/activity and look for any successful logins that were not you. Do you see any?

Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

First, though, please explain what the difference between your "normal" account and your "Outlook" account. For the latter, do you mean a Microsoft account whose address ends in @outlook.com? Also explain why you mean by "it displayed something Outlook account." Do you mean an address that looks like "Outlook_[large string of letters and digits]@outlook.com"? If so, that's normal when you are using an address for a username that doesn't end in a Microsoft domain. If that's not what you mean, please be more explicit in your description. Details matter.
