For some reason, I think Microsoft has blocked my phone number, and I can't log in. Has created a nightmare for me. What can I do?

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

    1. What is the exact error message you receive when you verify your identity using the Phone number?
    2. Do you have any other verification method, such as a recovery email address or an authenticator app, to verify your identity?

Microsoft always recommends that users have at least three verification methods to prove their identity. So, even if one method gets deactivated, you can use another method for the Verification.

If you only have the phone number option, make sure you don't request the Verification code repeatedly. If your account is temporarily blocked, wait 24 hours, then try requesting the verification code again. Signing in repeatedly will reset any time lock.

So, after 24 hours, see if you can get the verification code. (OR) Connect your device to another Wi-Fi network, such as a mobile hotspot network, and request the verification code.
